Title I Reading Program
Focused Support for Student Literacy Growth
Our Title I Reading Program is dedicated to improving student literacy through a comprehensive and responsive approach tailored to meet individual learning needs. With a team of four skilled reading specialists, we provide targeted support to ensure every student builds a strong foundation in reading.
Key components of our program include:
- Regular Progress Monitoring: We assess student growth consistently to inform instruction and adjust support as needed.
- What I Need (WIN) Groups: Small group instruction focused on specific skill-level interventions to help students make meaningful gains.
- Reading Support Groups: Students receive additional guided reading practice and strategies in a supportive environment.
- Screening for Reading Difficulties: We administer required assessments to identify and address reading challenges early.
- Support During Core Phonics Lessons: Our team works closely with classroom teachers to reinforce phonics instruction and provide in-the-moment assistance to students.
By collaborating with teachers and families, the Title I Reading Program helps create a strong, equitable foundation for lifelong literacy success.
